NIKKO
Nikko, the central area of Nikko
National Park, lies about 90 miles north of Tokyo and it is a mere 2hour
vehicle journey.
Here the grandeur of nature is well combined with the
finest in man's hand work, the latter being conspicuous in the magnificient
structures of Toshougu Shrine.
The Nikko National Park even possesses a
number of splendid spa resorts, noted for their recuperative,and curative
advantage.
Morever, Nikko may be enjoyed throughout the year, for each of
the four seasons, has its area.
This area has been registered for UNESCO'S
WORLD HERITAGE in Dec., 2000.
